Mixing Method - Collagen Hydrolysate
This Gelatin will not "gel" so it is suitable for juices, smoothies or water.
Best to mix 1tbsp with a little room temperature water first and the add your favourite juice, smoothie or beverage of your choice. Best had first thing in the morning and 20minutes before bed time.
Mixing Method - Beef/Porcine Gelatin
Best to mix 1tbsp with 1/4cup water at room temperature for 1 minute and then add 1 and 1/2 cups of boiling water. Pour into moulds and allow to cool and gel before popping out of moulds.
Simple "jello" Recipe. Sweet or Sour Gelatin Gummy Snacks
for a lemon-lime version:
3/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
1/4 cup water
zest from lemons and/or limes as desired
1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey or any sweetner of your choice.
4-5 tablespoons Peptipro Beef Gelatin Orange or Purple tub - Blue does not gel.
In a small pot over medium-low heat, whisk the lemon juice, lime juice, water (optional), zest, maple syrup, and gelatin together vigorously until the gelatin is well dissolved and the mixture becomes a nice slurry.
Pour the mixture into ice cube containers or chocolate moulds for desired shape. Allow to chill in Fridge for min 30min.
You can vary the recipe by swapping out the lemon/lime juice for what ever juice you want. At Gelatin Australia we blend blueberries and use in our gummies. Makes for a delicious and healthy treat.
